Why Do Bad Things Happen?

The Jesus Dilemma Series started today.

I'm super proud of my team, the production team, and the tech crew today. The set looks amazing. I sat in on the first service and so many people are responding and coming forward.

This message is about who Jesus is and who different people say he is. Such a controversial discussion and I hope it helps many go from neutral to making a decision about him. For or against.

The set. There are 8 55 inch HD screens on mounts. Jim Stamps the producer came up with this idea to mimic the tag cloud branding. Super great idea. It meant that I had to make several videos that would change the words ever so often at different moments. Just finished reading Isiah 5 and here's what I got from it, the time I have on the earth is not mine--so why not let Him have the time? Why not let Him have the floor? And why not let Him do His will?

After all, shouldn't I trust Him to do His will in His time?

Missional VS Attractional Church

Is this a dilemma your church wrestles with? I can't stop thinking that it's as simple as seeing yourself as the church. If you (one person) is or represents Christ's church, would you feel more compelled to make yourself look attractive as a Christian or go out and reach/bless people?
