Cuddling Kinito
★ The moment you move to open the blanket, Kinito is already there. Standing next to you, asking, "Oh. Is it bedtime?" While tilting his head to the side. He doesn't need to say it, you know he's asking for an invitation to join.
★ You've gone over boundaries before. Explaining what you are and aren't comfortable with. Kinito silencing your phone? Disabling your notifications so you won't have a reason to leave? Well... you never said he couldn't...
★ He likes to be curled against your chest. Face hidden. Tucked away from the world and secure in your hold. It's one of his favorite things. Please, don't let go.
★ It used to be funny, watching him get flustered over gentle touches. Now he leans into it. Trying to soak up every bit of attention he can get. He's grown bolder. Not hesitating to ask for what he wants.
★ Kinito hums out a few low tunes. Some kind of lullaby. You don't quite recognize the melody, but it's gentle, like a nursery rhyme. He's close enough that you feel the vibrations coming from... somewhere.
★ While you eventually drift off, he stays awake. Watching you sleep until sunlight filters in through the curtains. You wake up to him still by your side. Eager for the start of another day with you. And only you. Just like the last!
