Back to Origins

The remapping of the story took me back to the original script and the original vision for the story. Not a laugh out loud comedy, but a celebration of the ridiculous in people's lives and their psyches, and it was thanks to Chris and Heather Lutkin that my vision became clearer and I realized where the story needed to go.

The list (from now on, I'll forgo the "new 'new'" thing.):

1- Reorganize story into 1 act

2- Add more images and directions to script storyboard

3- Email full script to Isaac, Chris, and Heather

4- Meet with/ call Alexis to clear filming times, or find new filming location

5- Meet with/ call Isaac to discuss: photo re-shoot day, possible costumes, and film date and time.

                - costumes are now simplified:

                                Maria: pants and tunic shirt

                                Drew: khaki pants and shirt

6- Confirm film date:

7- Re-shoot video journals for "Drew" and "Maria"

Heather and Chris Lutkin are the founders of Coupla Swells. They are a creative team based in the Big Apple who do shows together Off-Off Broadway, make short films, and write scripts, both for stage and screen. They have collaborated on a number of screen and stage projects, including the short play “Yarns,” performed as part of an Actors Equity-showcase in midtown Manhattan. Their work has also appeared at Ensemble Studio Theater in NYC, where Chris is a member, and at Artistic New Directions, where they are both actively involved.
