My HC’s why Thomas loves poptarts so much, in order of most believable to self indulgent notes app confession.
1 - he just REALLY loves Poptarts man. Like, a normal amount, it’s just his fav snack. He ate more than 1 one time and Mckinley said “wow you rlly like Poptarts that should be your name !!” And Thomas was like “yeah :}” (I mean Mormon’s LOVE sugar they have dirty sodas and Crumble Cookie I don’t think it’s a stretch)
2 - it was his sisters fav food, they always had sleepovers and ate a bunch together until their stomachs hurt, she had them for breakfast every morning and when she was sad he’d make her some. She even still ate them right before she died. After she passed away, he ate them as a way of comfort, sort’ve to assuage the guilt of not being there when she died, but all it did was remind himself of her.
3 - he REALLLY likes Poptarts. He wears Poptarts deodorant, Poptarts underwear , he has a Poptarts themed tie. His blood is Poptarts, his tears are Poptarts, he shits Poptarts, his brain cells are Poptarts.
4 - he got his nickname before the mission because he was obsessed with them as a kid. All the kids in his hometown called him Chris Poptarts. He grew to hate this name because that’s ALL people call him now. It somehow carried over into their mission since him and Mckinley went to the same MTC so he heard through the grapevine, and then it caught on with the Elder’s. He hates this but pretends he doesn’t because he wants to “keep the peace.” Doesn’t even like being seen near a Poptart anymore.

INXS's 5th studio album was released on 14 October 1985.
After 3 months of working on the album, producer Chris Thomas felt that the group still lacked a "hit" song and encouraged them to write one more for the album. Michael Hutchence and Andrew Farriss went through the demo versions they had recorded and brought one titled "Funk Song no 13" to Thomas who then spent 2 days working with the band to develop what would become the group's first Top 10 hit single in the US, "What You Need" (which peaked at #5).
Listen Like Thieves peaked at #11 in the US and would go on to sell more than 4 million copies.
Pretenders “Pretenders II” 1981
The first album gets all the love but this follow-up is almost as good. Unfortunately the last stand of the original band as self destruction was the order of the day. The album after this “Learning To Crawl” was a worthy rebirth.
