One anecdote from Bathory that I think about often is that the drummer of Sodom spent 2 weeks hanging out with Quorthon, because they were supposed to play an USA tour together in '86, but the Chernobyl accident happened during that time. Quorthon told Chris Witchhunter he needed to take his iodine pills given at the German embassy and he freaked out so much that he just took the train back to Germany.

Chernobyl was the reason we never had a Bathory tour.
