I think you really shouldn’t be having these problems after an update either, and what happened for me was probably just some weird malfunction or whatever, but I just don’t really trust things to go smoothly anymore xD Though apparently you can also do a clean install of Win 10 instead of an update, and that would be possible with a new computer, as there’s no data to lose in the process yet....ahh decisions!!

I haven’t even considered a desktop PC, mhmm...they’re definitely cheaper. but Idk, I want something I can drag around with me :’D fingers crossed that your laptop holds out for a little while longer! 

I’ve got everything backed up anyway because paranioa :D just need to update some folders on my external hard drive this weekend and then I’m basically ready. I hope you get all your data back, that is ~the nightmare~, holy shit D:

I did the update because my laptop had windows 8 and that was annoying. The update is good, at least for me it is, don't know about your lappy though, poor dying thing. :(

Yeah I wouldn’t do it on this one anyway, it’s over 6 years old and ready to retire, as it keeps reminding me xD  It’s just the matter of buying a Win 8 new one and updating or waiting until more with Win 10 are available....the thing is, when I updated this one to Windows 7, everything got kind of messed up with licenses or something, like the OS didn’t ‘fit’ with them anymore? I have no idea, but I can barely install any new software (or update things like iTunes) because the computer has some sort of identity crisis every time. And I get stuff like, Idk, not being authorized or whatever. Or the software just plain will not install anymore without explanation (like Silverlight). So that’s why I’m skeptical about buying an older model and updating it to Windows 10. And I do not want 8 o.O

Honestly I have no idea how to answer that. We never really know how other people see us.

I want to be able to live comfortably in a state that has real trees, more rain, no motherfucking scorpions trying to crawl up in my belongings, and a house I can afford to decorate. I want to create things and find a way to sustain myself in doing so.

I don't know, some days thinking about that stuff inspires me and other days like today it seems so much like pipe dreams that it's just depressing.
