How I feel about this character
he's pretty cool in general but I especially like his design/clothes. My favorite amongst other LIs (in their default designs tho). His "peak moment" to me is his role on Aldor's main plot.

uhhh outside with the player, none that I really think of? the ones with other LIs I'll mention below would probably work/be cute in a romantic way but I still mainly see their dynamic in a friend/platonic way
My non-romantic OTP for this character
I like the idea of Amethyst and Xander when I see both of them in Aldor, they'd be good friends.. I think that at first, Amethyst would look on the scholars working and meet Xander from there. looking how she dislikes strict elders/those ruling her, Xander's probably the only one she'd like to befriend and talk with freely in Aldor. "I'm only fond of this guy" type shit and she just immediately claims him only for her (platonically) 😭. and she'd bring him anywhere she wanted to explore and Xander would just ramble about the things he found interesting and she'd listen— an Aldor explorer would love to learn more about Aldor afterall! very great mutual talker-and-listener relationship would go on in general 🎉
I also have some friends who like Xander/Flint and I think it's nice too. "neurodivergent buddies having quality time and learning together" does sound like a fun and comforting thing. But I see them/the act as "friend"ly rather than romantical
My unpopular opinion about this character
I'm bad at explaining this but he... doesn't rlly amaze me for being an autism representation, even I think he's showing sides of autism spectrum that's too on-surface/commonly used in medias, which leaves me kinda "meh"/unimpressed at him
Not saying that he's a bad rep and you're free to feel relatable with his experiences—it's all good. just I prefer any other characters like Flint or Katrina when it comes to neurodivergency rep in pk2. "preference on representation of the spectrum" stuff or i may've being too nitpicky on these stuffs sorry
One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon
so uhh Xander just dropped the fact Blaze and Breeze are his cousins and that's it?? How does he even know that when he's an orphan and don't remember anything about his parents? I wish we can see them interact whether it's in-game or through official art or anything... or maybe like more lore any his biological parents if it's even on the store. If in the future... it'd be nice to see him as one of the important, independent scholar in Aldor..
