@chrisrock & @octaviaspencer @johnleguizamo @officialspikelee So in the age of woke-ness I was super excited about this film and I was really excited when I saw the original trailer for the film with its really compelling story being driven by African American characters without it being a "BlackMovie". I thought how progressive of @hbo and @hbomax they might just get my money plus @stanleytucci And @annehathaway are in it is written and directed by @robertzemeckisunofficial . There also a great element of the story about a boy and his beloved grandmother and this echoed with my own childhood and then I saw the 2nd trailer tonight while watching @foodnetwork and what can I say @iamvictory44 Apparently the entire movie has been re-cut #ChrisRocks voice and narration are gone, #OctaviaSpencer is just a maid looking under a bed for like a second and the movie is all about #ANNEHATHWAY #STANLEYTUCCI AND #THEWHITECHILDREN IN THE FILM. The black child in the film seems to have been cut out as well. So much for all those corporate letters of inclusion. Guess the more things change .....
