Hellatus day 121
Bible study today. Have to say I think that going to church every other day is too much. And just because I prefer Church once a week doesn’t mean I’m any less of a Christian. At the moment I don’t go to a church regularly. Finding a church I like is kinda like Goldilocks. It’s small but too long (African churches). It’s short but too loud (I can hardly hear myself think). I think I’ve found a church I might like and I plan on going there this Sunday.
I sometimes hate being a christian on tumblr. You know we're not all hateful bigots. I feel just as much judgement from non Christians on here. I just want to live my life loving God and my fellow neighbor, without having my faith mocked, because of a few exceptions. Is that to much to ask?
Quote Of The Day #3
Many a sober Christian would rather admit that a wafer is God than that God is a cruel and capricious tyrant. - Edward Gibbon (1737-1794)
Replying to halcyonhour to your question about my "Losing Faith" post.
halcyonhour replied to your post: Losing Faith.
"'God will forgive every sin that we all have committed.' The mass murders, serial killers, pedophiles, etc. Some have no remorse for what they have done. Can they be saved then?"
That is a very good question! I believe that NO SINS ARE UNFORGIVING; even those that you've mentioned above. I understand the things they did is morally wrong and inhumane that they deserve a great deal of eternal punishment; but anyone who believes in God, no matter what sins he commits he will be forgiven. God died for our sins: past, present, and future. There are no sins that will not be forgiven by God and no BIG sins that will be unforgiving. Once a person sins and in that moment return his faith to God and believes in Him, all is forgiven... permanently. It does not matter the size of the sins that one commits, what matters is that he would realizes what he'd done and places his faith in God.
