The path every Christian MUST AVOID…
(4)But one of his disciples, Judas Iscariot, who was later to betray him, objected, (5)”Why wasn’t this perfume sold and the money given to the poor? It was worth a year’s wages.” (6)He did not say this because he cared about the poor but because he was a thief; as keeper of the money bag, he used to help himself to what was put into it.
Pretending to be good in the eyes of others
Since Judas had charge of the money, some thought Jesus was telling him to buy what was needed for the Feast, or to give something to the poor.

(Notice who started this false accusation – It’s Judas)
(4)But one of his disciples, Judas Iscariot, who was later to betray him, objected, (5)”Why wasn’t this perfume sold and the money given to the poor? It was worth a year’s wages.”
Secret meeting against the leader
(4)And Judas went to the chief priests and the officers of the temple guard and discussed with them how he might betray Jesus. (5)They were delighted and agreed to give him money. (6) He consented, and watched for an opportunity to hand Jesus over to them when no crowd was present.
(44)Now the betrayer had arranged a signal with them: “The one I kiss is the man; arrest him and lead him away under guard.” (45)Going at once to Jesus, Judas said, “Rabbi!” and kissed him. (46)The men seized Jesus and arrested him.
So don’t open a highway for Satan in your heart…
Then Satan entered Judas, called Iscariot, one of the Twelve.
