so, assuming iron lung (2026) follows the exact timeline of the game (with the current date being 378, filament station exploding in 362, and the quiet rapture happening in 357), and simon is the same age as mr real life markiplier (which would be 36) -
he would have been 15~ when the quiet rapture happened, 20~ when filament station blew up and he would have presumably spent 16~ years in c.o.i custody before the events of the movie, if he turned himself in directly after the incident.
(during this time in custody, he was presumably also going through other avenues of conviction realisation, but the c.o.i never considered it enough for filament station. hence the deal with the sub)
