chrobinprompts I heard you guys were excepting mods
My mod name would be Mod Charity!
I’ll be available for pretty much most of summer, except for the times when I’m rehearsing for the play for the next week, and actually doing the play itself, which I will notify on this and Chrobinprompts if I am accepted when stuff happens. After that, there’s only school in the way, and I will bring my laptop to school, I’ll just be... less available due to classes. And HW.
I love the plot importance Chrobin has on the story, plus, Chrom is an absolute dork and Robin is his tactician-turned-lover due to close ties and shenenigans. While I like other ships, who doesn’t like other ships in this fandom? I also absolutely love writing. I went to a two-week camp for writing. I am a demigirl who loves to play video games (especially Fire Emblem Awakening) and fangirlling over stuff I’ve seen... and is way cooler online than on the net.
And Fairy Tale AU... hm. I’ll go with Cinderella! I don’t really remember much of it, so I’m gonna... adapt it a little depending on where my whims take me?
Robin rubbed the dust off her silver hair, curling it around her fingers as the black ashes flaked off. Of course Aversa had already taken to calling her Cinderi, but Robin clung onto her actual name, the name her late mother had given to her, and ignored Aversa’s name calling.
Robin also had an affinity with birds, but Robin would not dare mention that to Validar or Aversa, lest they be killed by her bird-hating step-sister.
Robin had to go through a ton of hoops in order for her to take care of a manakete in the backyard, and even then it was extremely painful watching Aversa mistreat the dragon because she wanted to mess around with their pet.
Any way it went, eventually, one day, Validar decided to take Aversa out for a dress, and Robin was left alone to discover a letter on the table, with the exalt’s seal laying next to it, that there was going to be a party where the prince to the throne after his late sister’s, Emmeryn’s, death, was going to take a bride or groom. It really depended on the prince’s sexuality.
Robin wanted a dress to go in, and she had one of her mother’s old dresses hanging in her closet somewhere. Dashing up the stairs, she burst into her room, where her birds flew up in surprise, and she opened the closet. A dress, black and gold in color, was sitting there, dust gathering as it sat in the back of the closet.
However, when she walked into the main room, where Validar and Aversa were returning, Aversa told her she was a worthless piece of shit, and that little Cinderi would never get Chrom’s attention, the dress was torn, and Validar only sneered before following his daughter up the stairs.
It wasn’t fair, Robin remembered thinking. While Aversa was going out and trouncing around with the lords that were sure to be here, she was stuck at home, stuck cleaning the spotless house, and with her Manakete, Morgan, in the backyard. She decided to go out there, maybe clean some leaves and pet Morgan’s head.
After a while of playing around with Morgan, however half-heartedly, she still wished she was there instead of here, stuck cleaning a house that didn’t really need cleaning.
That was when a figure exploded into being with a flash of light and sparkles, and Morgan yelped, flying back quickly. Robin could only stare as a girl in curls and bows with a parasol in her hands glared at her, huffing.
“You know, if you could just pay attention, you can see that this is easily solveable!” She exclaimed, pointing at Morgan. “Do you know how to fly on a Manakete?”
Robin only stared, nodding. It required some care, due to Manaketes also being setient and not exactly pegasi/horses, but Robin did remember learning.
“Then you better hurry up and go, the prince isn’t going to wait forever, you know!” She snapped, before pointing at Morgan. “Chop chop!” She pat her parasol in her hand not holding the end, impatience in her eyes.
“Who are you?” Robin asked, and the girl huffed, rolling her head. “And I can’t exactly go looking like this, this is a royal party!”
“I was going to fix that.” The girl muttered, a blush rising on her face. “Yes. I thought you already had a dress, so...” She turned to Morgan. “We need to get you a butler. So as soon as you arrive, I’m going to activate a spell,” She tapped Morgan on the face, and he was covered in flower petals, “and he will become human. Hopefully.”
That did not get Robin any gains of confidence. “Hopefully?”
“Hush, I was sent out in a rush.” The girl huffed. “The name is Marribelle, and I am one of your fairy godmothers.” The girl leaned down and pulled Robin off the ground. “What kind of dress do you want?”
Robin thought, a hand stroking her chin. She already had a dark one, so... “A bright one, and one that really doesn’t show off my figure.”
Maribelle nodded, looking up and down Robin’s body before tapping the girl’s head of silver. And Robin felt her clothes change, her skirt lengthening and fusing with her shirt, which was becoming looser.
Her hands were covered with gloves, and on the back was the symbol of six eyes connected by two lines, three connected to each and the bottom part being the two lines crisscrossing. This part matched her dark skin, unlike the rest of her bright, contrasting dress.
Maribelle smirked. “Well, there you go!” She sighed, smile fading. “But, due to my hastiness in getting to you, I was not prepared to have a more permanent spell for that dress and your Manakete’s human form. Both of you will turn back to your previous selves at midnight. Remember this.”
Robin’s hands gripped into his, and Chrom smiled at her, his smile warming her heart. “Not from around, are you?”
“N-No. Not really.” She mumbled, staring into his eyes of a stormy blue. “I moved here a while back, actually... with my butler.”
Chrom let his eyes gaze over to Morgan, who was excitingly drinking a ton of the punch with his gloved hands, and getting some red specks on his black outfit. His hair was a deep silver, quite like Robin’s, and
With Chrom looking at Morgan, his concentration was distracted and his shoe tripped on a pebble beside them, and he almost pulled Robin down with him as he lost his balance. She landed in his chest as he righted himself, and Robin could hear her heart beating so fast...
Robin pulled away from his chest, a little embarrassed. “Uh, sorry.” She muttered, and Chrom shook his head.
“There’s no need to be sorry for something I did!” Chrom waved it off, his shoulder showing off his brand. The music started to change, and the two both sighed, knowing they would have to separate.
As Chrom handed Robin off to Stahl and Chrom got a new lady, the prince stepped accidentally over his new partner’s shoes. Robin seemed to be... so at home here, despite being tense earlier at this loud party.
The party cycled around, Robin tripped over her own shoes when she had to dance with her own stepfather, and eventually the party died down, with people just talking to each other.
When Robin was talking to Morgan, teaching him that no, it was not okay to eat a whole turkey whole, Chrom approached her and they started to talk, with Chrom making a bunch of blunders over her, and Morgan just staring in curiosity.
While the two were talking, Robin sliding the glove up and down on her hand, the clock hit 12, and Morgan started to run, knowing that shapeshifters weren’t exactly accepted here. Robin jumped in surprise at the clock, glove falling off her hand and onto part of the cake.
“I’m sorry, I have to go!” She shouted, and Chrom tried to run after her, but Robin had already jumped onto the shifting dragon and was flying into the sky as she reached the bottom of the staircase.
Chrom only stared as the dragon and woman flew into the distance, holding her glove in his hand.
