Product Review: Chrome Industries, Citizen Messenger Bag
Product Review: Chrome Bag 2022.
The First Chrome industries bag that I purchased was the Chrome Industries Citizen Messenger Bag all the way back in 2012. The original citizen messenger bag is a medium sized messenger bag that can comfortably fit several liters worth of cargo. The Bag can easily accommodate everything a commuting University student can carry, laptop, books, folders, spare change of clothes, etc. It is also big enough to fit at least 2 12 packs of beer which my punk friends loved to do at the time. The Citizen Messenger is Iconic, it features a belt buckle strap, dedicated pouches for goods, waterproof outer layer, and reflective details which give the bag high visibility at night. It is the perfect bag for biking, and has been made famous by bike couriers and bike enthusiasts. Its over the shoulder design is comfortable enough for long rides and day to day commute, capable of being worn for several hours without fatigue. It also has handy straps that allow you to strap in across the chest and over the shoulder, for extra purchase and traction while riding. This bag is designed to last, I have had it for nearly a decade without any problems and with it looking as good as when I first bought it, minus some wear and tear. The only really noticeable wear that has occurred is around the buckle for the strap, this is due to being used regularly for nearly a decade, and speaks to the quality of the bag as it is the only part that has worn with use.
I recently purchased another updated version of the Chrome Industries Citizen Messenger bag, the upgraded version is made of a much more durable material that is both waterproof and wear resistant. It also features all black detailing for a cool sleek stealth look. I am as happy with this bag as my first Chrome bag and am happily using the same brand of bags for nearly a decade.
