i’m realizing that i know how to defend my medical history better than i know how to rest.
in the midst of illness and grief and fear, we are expected to produce our own medical case studies in real time.

just something i made, in case it’s helpful for anyone!
minimal effort needed to track symptoms and side effects each day, then just sum your totals from the week in the weekly review. for example, a week where every day was a 1/5 for energy would give you a total energy level of 7 for the week.
over time, you can see how a new treatment or medication is actually working for you and be better prepared to discuss with your doctor.
the full thing is on my etsy, linked here. check it out :)
february wellness for tired bodies
reminders:
- your body is not behind
- rest is not a failure
- healing isn’t linear
- you are allowed to move at your own pace
- surviving this season is enough
things to try:
- gentle stretching first thing in the morning
- find something that brings you joy and make it a routine
- try a new drink: an herbal tea, an electrolyte mix, etc
- practice strength in whatever capacity your body allows
- notice the sunset changing as the days grow longer
prepare for:
- fluctuating temperatures as we approach spring
- valentine’s day and the joy or grief it may bring
- changing sights and sounds as the earth slowly wakes up
this is a space for softness, not solutions.
hold onto what feels right for you, and let go of what does not.
