An art meme created by Shao on Twitter to design and draw characters from The Holy War and the Reaper series from Sound Horizon's Chronicle 2nd (starts from Arbelge no Tatakai to Seisen to Shinigami ~Eiyuu no Fuzai).

It's been a while since I ever listen and do something Sound Horizon related so I had a blast designing and drawing the characters. Ngl the story sounds very FE and you could probably guess that Fire Emblem influence is really strong both in the story and my own interpretation of the characters. Maybe Revo was playing some FE when he created this story?

Personal design notes:

For some reason my thought process of drawing all the male characters are "they're all bastards".

Albers is known as the reaper, though the color white and silver are heavily associated with him in the lyrics. Rose called him a rough neck so I thought of making him somewhat rugged. His eyes are silver to match his theme.

Albers said Rose mildly reminds him of Charlotte, so I thought of giving Charlotte similar color scheme as Rose. I made the red stone her engagement ring with Albers.

My first thought for Rose: she's a sassy baby. "Who's this sassy lost child" is a meme for her. Her design is based on Seisen 3 where she's gone incognito after fleeing the palace.

Parsifal has that yellow streak of Thunder God like Leontius in Moira. I headcanon him as a bastard general that won't listen to anyone but Rose. He has the least scars because he flex that Thunder God lineage and Thunder Spear a lot.

Gefenbauer is a follower of The Black Chronicle Cult, hence the cult uniform outline. Nothing much I can say about his design except that I want him to look crazed somehow. He gets the red hair to match his manic personality.

Childebert VI is the emperor of Albers' old country (Flandre) that lied to him about giving back his land. Imagined him like a sly and cunning emperor behind very saintly look.

Tristram is that one character somehow just mentioned once, ever, in the whole series LMAO. It's said that he's a captain guarding a lake area so I made him look older and gave him some shield and water element into his design.

Last spot is free spot and I decided to draw old Luna so I could have excuse to draw older ladies.
