Ten of Wands: Duty, Responsibility, Obligation
—
I picked the Ten of Wands card for Chronica because of its associations not just with duty and responsibility, but also stress and breakdown. Initially, she sees it as her duty to protect the galaxy from Knives’ threat, but after he assimilates Domina, it becomes personal and this sense of duty morphs into a need for revenge. In this composition, her burden, the wands, are represented by the ten shards that her ship breaks into when it enters battle mode, as she is someone who uses force to carry out her responsibilities.
[I.D. A graphic that says "Trigun Sapphic Week 2026: March 22nd - 28th, Prompt Suggestions October 28th - November 12th." The text is in a white rectangle with a brown paper texture outside of it. Illustrated violets are in the top right and bottom left corners. A string hangs in an opposite corner and Kuroneko stands in the other. End I.D.]
