oiseau nocturne??? hahaHAHAHA
Yep.
How about a fic - Fashion Designer Kurt makes his hubby, Blaine, and their little boy, model for him?
Let me guess, this is a subtle wink to this?
Finding a good model can be pretty darn difficult.
Finding a good child model, even more so. But finding a good pair of adult/child models for the launch of the "Fashion sense doesn't wait" line at KHA? Nearly impossible.
But impossible is not Hummel.
Firtunately for him, Dan and Blaine just came back from a little Greek holiday with Santana and Dani, so his son all tan and his hair are closer to Kurt's than Santana's usually dark locks, and Blaine has this little scruff of a beard he always gets during the holidays, and he hasn't had the time to go to the hairdresser yet, and Kurt gets to work.
First, to convince Blaine that Dan is old enough to model for him and that it won't damage his mental equilibrium to have his pictures taken and used. Second, to convince Blaine that he> can model for Kurt's line, that he is more than hot enough to wear the clothes and showcase them, and that it would be funny to have ... one of a kind family pictures, printed in 4 by 3 all over the city.
And finally, to decide which clothes are the best and of the location of the shoot.
They pick one of the KHA warehouse, emptied for the occasion, and Kurt decides to have Blaine and Dan modeling the Summer, casual part of the collection. On a whim, he also asks Santana to come to take a couple of pictures, even when she asks him to keep her face out of it.
Kurt is more than happy to oblige, since it gives to the pictures a very natural flow, like those are actual family pictures.
Dan takes to modeling like a fish takes to water, and he follows every instruction with a calm and a restraint his fathers have never seen before--Blaine has to ask Kurt to pinch him more than once, only earning a very Hummel judgmental look from his son, visible even through the dark sunglasses Kurt has slided on his nose.
Standing at the computer to observe every take, Kurt can't help but smile as one element comes through every picture.
Whenever Blaine turns his body or arranges his arms and legs a certain way, Dan seems to follow his lead, mirroring his Papa's posture and attitude--Kurt can't even be sure if it's a conscious move or not, but it says a lot about the love and admiration Dan has for his Papa.
Blaine had always been worried that Dan wouldn't love as much as he loved Kurt, since he wasn't his biological father, but what Kurt sees on the screen as they both stand up, brushing their pants in the same gentleman manner before holding up the chains hanging around--it highlights Blaine's muscles and the traditional beauty of his frame while giving Dan something to do with his hands (ah, there it is, his fidgety son)--it's a filial love so deep that it transcends genes and biology.
Kurt stands up and turns to the photographer. "Give us five," he simply tells him, walking closer to the men of his life, opening his arms as Dan rushes to him.
"Did I do good, Dad? Did I, did I, did III?" Dan immediately asks, arms wrapped as best he can around Kurt's neck.
"You're a natural, mijo," he replies, rubbing his nose against Dan's. Oh, he can hear the shutter closing behind, and the photographer probably couldn't resist the temptation (especially since Dan and Kurt are wearing the same white shirt with the red heart sewed on the pocket), but he basks in the moment.
The collection is perfect, as proven by how easy it was for Blaine and Dan to put the clothes on and to move around for the pictures, and he has his favorite men with him.
