100% of the threads I ‘drop’ with no explanation are because of Tumblr glitching out and not telling me my partner has replied.
I’m not always hooked in to tumblr so if my activity feed/tags don’t let me know you have replied, often I just won’t know because I won’t see it on my dash.
I get the feeling this is actually a really common problem, if you feel like a partner has dropped a thread with you, I would advise you ask them.
Chances are tumblr dun goofed and they have been waiting for your reply.

"Friend? Where have you been? I have not seen you around the fields lately, or, well anywhere. You were not in your room and it took quite few spells to locate you." Zilean looks at Yi nervously through the open studio window, his eyes showing great concern.
"Zilean?" Yi had been spending the evening doing… a lot of nothing really. He couldn’t really get comfortable enough to sleep, nor could he quell his anxiety for long enough to just sit peacefully. He approached the window looking obviously worse for wear, but most notably unshaven.
“I have been… ill recently.” He said, “So much so I was taken off rotation. I would ask you in, but Ophi is currently sleeping. I too should probably try to sleep…” The Mage shouldn’t have been worrying about him anyways. He was doing enough of that on his own.

Zilean's nose twitches as Yi passes by him. This new form was so odd, he didn't understand what that tickle in his throat was until- "BARK, BARK BARK BARK!" Zilean's eyes widen as he finds himself growling at his friend.
Taken by surprise, Master Yi found the fur on his back try to stand against his cloth armor, "B-by the Stars. Do you not have any control? I assume you are a victim of greyface magic as well, so you were human..."
