This is such a fun scene when you think about the context, cause is supposed to be from Chrono's perspective.

Chrono really think he can fool us and make us think Chisaki, a person with severe misophonia, would voluntarily enter in a cage fight shirtless AND without gloves?

Especially considering we have another flashback of the same or a similar situation from Rappa's perspective and we clearly see Chisaki doesn't take off his clothes for "fight".

Is Chrono so thirsty for Kai that he unconsciously imagines him shirtless?

#I worked on this for too long and now I can't really be satisfied with it but I can accept the fact that it is 3am and I should sleep #Okay time to ramble about monsterhaul. So obviously its something of an atypical form which means it isn't included in fan content too much #but when it is usually Nemoto's (for lack of a more eloquent term) fusion gets the spotlight which is fair and cool I love it too #However there is definitely something to be explored in the fact that Rikiya represents the violation of abstinence from err. contact #Which makes him interesting to be mushed together with the very literally and symbolically touch-averse character that is Chisaki.#And when placed before Kurono there's appeal in putting two characters normally so laden with inhibitions into a #situation where those are somewhat repealed by existing inherent filth and the dispositions of a third party.#Good concept. → You can not convince me that his hair routine does not take at LEAST half an hour. Those things gotta be sensitive. If towel dried, he probably does each arrow individually. If done with a hairdryer, he definitely separates the arrows to avoid them getting tangled.

→ Kurono likely does not let anyone call him by his real name. Apart from Overhaul, of course. I believe he only chose his little gangster name because Chisaki did it. Just like Chisaki, Kurono just used the name of his Quirk as his villain name. He would correct anybody else who called him Hari or Kurono because then he would not appear as intimidating as he should in his position as the Hassaikai's aide. But if Overhaul were to call him by his real name, I highly doubt that Kurono would correct him.

→ He definitely just agrees with anything that Chisaki says regardless of if he actually agrees or not. There has definitely been more than one time that he has agreed without thinking and then immediately had a 'wait what-' moment right after. This man's head would snap towards Kai within an instant. Despite his shock, he wouldn't argue.

→ He definitely has a pile of notebooks filled with Overhaul's preferences. This would be from his most preferred candle scent down to what material he prefers for his socks.

→ He is a light sleeper. 100%. He has to be prepared for anything at any time. This man is always on edge but hides it extremely well. He likely looks over his shoulder when running errands at the slightest noise.

→ MHA is set in the future. For my sanity, I'm gonna say that Arcane exists as a show in the MHA universe. Hari Kurono has watched the entire show. His favourite is Silco. I will not elaborate.
