On Thursday I had a class with VR activity. Friday didn't do much... but hey! I received a chocolate bunny 🐇.

And today I remembered how much I like Amy's first album, Frank.

It was a lazy day. The rain and the warmth of my bed make me feel relaxed. I only corrected some assignments. It feels like July is just around the corner (god pls help me ༎ຶ⁠‿⁠༎ຶ).

I could say I'm not in my best moment lol. So much to do in such a short period of time. The best part is that my winter holiday starts the next Monday. I hope you all are doing better than me ಥ⁠‿⁠ಥ

I went to the library bc I wanted to change my study environment. It turned out that today was the National Heritage Day so there were a lot of people in the surroundings. Despite that I could focus on studying a topic and on reading some pages.

I finished my day playing Minecraft.

Now I'm hungry ;-;

May 29th, 2024

Today I had four meetings with the students groups of the course I'm assistant professor of. It was nice and I think they understand well the main feedback ideas I gave them. But sadly I couldn't go to do fieldwork (one group had requested a meeting at the last minute💀). Anyway, I used that time instead for writing a pending field note that I wrote many days ago in my notebook (not the better thing to do tbh). I also read one paper and read for pleasure a peruvian novel. I ended the day playing Harvest Town (I haven't play for a looong time).

Goals

✔ Tutoring two four lol groups bc I'm a assistant professor in a uni course hehe

❌ Do some fieldwork for my ethnography project I couldn't :(

✔ Read an Archer´s chapter book (again bc I'll be lecturing about that chapter next week) and an academic article about labelling theory. Just a few pages but still counts (?

At 2:30am, I finally finished correcting all the papers for my assistantship ಥ⁠‿⁠ಥ

June 6th, 2024 (13/100 days of productivity)

I'm so tired. I think I'm not at my best moment. Today I went to do fieldwork and it went well (sometimes you realize people are starting to trust you). That part was good. But I came across a working group that is researching a similar topic to mine in the same place (also from my same university), and I joined them. Then I realized that maybe my methodology was not being the best and I got discouraged. The truth is that this ethnographic work consumed me a lot of time and even so I was not able to give it an innovative and practical approach to carry it out in the framework of one semester. I got discouraged, I am still discouraged. I know I need to reflect on this assignment. But for now, I don't want to think or know about it when I get home. I am frustrated :(.

I know I disappeared suddenly lol. I've been soooo busy these days (⁠༎ຶ⁠ ⁠෴⁠ ⁠༎ຶ⁠). But I didn't break my productivity streak 🤨. Maybe I will post the rest of the days. Who knows (?
