I had thought the iPhone picture my mom took of this painting would be sufficient, but then I went and read the submission rules of some of the DA groups I wanted to post this in and realized I needed to scan it anyway.
So now you guys get to see it twice.

It’s another attempt at one of those green jewel beetles; I’m really proud of this one, it’s the first one I’ve had turn out more or less exactly how I wanted it to, LOL.
(My sister has a couple pairs of earrings made of the wings of some of these guys, so my mom took this photo to text her the painting, LOL. I used a couple mangoes as paperweights, you can see the shadow of one in the top right corner and the leading edge of the other in the bottom left)
