with the recent seize of the gossip blog and incriminating report from the cape hazel police department, many residents of cape hazel have been in uproar. some have written their responses and published them publicly to clear their name, and many have turned to investigating on their own both to protect themselves and to solve the crime.

we encourage everyone to respond to the recent post on the gossip blog with both ic posts on your character’s account, as well as threading with other players about characters investigating together. please tag all related posts as both #chhope and #chtask016. as always, please message the main with any questions.

☆ ° ∘ chtask016 drabble.

Solomon didn’t want to believe it when he saw his name on the police report, but he knew exactly what his interrogation must have looked like. Nerves rattled each of his senses through the entire interview, and the police were right; he chose which details painted him most favorably.

The past few months were excruciating. Life ripped all the security he thought he didn’t need right under his feet and left him lost and confused about himself, the direction of his life, and every character in it. He didn’t know what he wanted or how to get it, and it felt more like life had its own plans in mind anyway. People he thought he could trust showed him nasty sides in the face of disaster, and now he was a murder suspect.

If Solomon had to find empowerment in one place, this was it. He refused to land behind bars for a crime he didn’t commit. He redirected every minute of free time he could spare, and even some he truly shouldn’t, into the case of Hope Upton. If the police couldn’t do their damn job, then he would find a way to do it himself.
