I really wanted to make this one. On top of being in my top 5 anime, this song- this hecking song- is possibly the catchiest song I’ve ever heard. Ever. Like, wow. After I’m done I’m just gonna go listen to this for a couple hours.
Kobayashi-san Chi no Maid Dragon. It’s not for everyone, but the people that it’s for are in for a treat. Amazing animation, no less expected from KyoAni, fantastic voice acting, unique characters and dynamics, an interesting spin on the snarky narrator/MC archetype, and a season finale that’s just… too good. Seriously, it deserves all the praise it gets, and not just because Kanna exists.
Tohru’s eyes are beautiful.
