That wouldn't be a problem if his wardrobe would still fit, so he actually plans on dieting, but Sonny isn't making that easy. It would probably just be less difficult if Barba would talk about it...

Sonny’s right hand stroked it’s way to his tummy and the applied pressure underneath his finger’s made him whine quietly. Not because it was uncomfortable, the opposite was actually true. It felt good, like any massage would. It was just dedicated to a very certain part of his body.

Okay, but Sonny and Barba meeting for lunch and they forget which day it is. And suddenly they are in the middle of a Valentine's Day special menu, and Barba refuses to tell everyone that they are not dating. It's cheap food, why not make the most of it?!

In times of emergency, Barba would occasionally borrow Carisi's clothes, despite their "form fitting" nature. Today, though, the two sides of Sonny's waistcoat were blankly refusing to meet, let alone button. Sonny then had to listen to Barba lecture about how Carisi's suits had shrunk, hiding a smirk as the ADA ate between setences. That had to be his third pastery that morning and judging by the way Barba was causally pulling at his own waistband, Sonny's suits weren't the only thing shrinking

Deep down Barba suspects it's not really Sonny not being able to wash his suit properly - but he just doesn't have the time to think about that at the moment - especially since he someone has to make that waistcoat work somehow!
