Really wish they'd have a more diverse body-type range in Twst. Bc what do you mean the only non-skinny characters are a ghost, the same model for one of the Ramshackle ghosts and "Puffy" from the Ghost Bride Event. Like ITS THE SAME MODEL. Plus one's an event/limited time character, and the other we rarely see. Also, come on, PUFFY? REALLY?
The only other main character who has been canonically overweight is Azul, who was actively bullied and mocked for his weight. I'm not saying bullying doesn't happen to overweight children and adults, bc it DOES, but there's like no good representation for chubby/overweight people in this game where it's not seen/construed as negative. We don't even get to SEE chubby Azul!
I mean there's also the Yuu from the Octavinelle Manga (I've never read it so I dont know that guys name I'm sorry), who I've heard is pretty good representation, but again, that's one book. And he's not a permanent character, just the Yuu from that Manga who is never featured in the game.
On the flip side, there's also HENRICK from Book 7 who is an ANTAGONIST and canonically BAD PERSON. Making the 1 living guy in the main story who is fat be a villain was... A choice.
Just... Why must everyone be either traditionally thin or skin and bones in the main cast? Or just muscles? It doesn't even have to be framed as a problem if a person is heavier in the game, bc some ppl's metabolism is screwy and some ppl gain weight no matter how much they exercise or do diets. I'm always so scared to draw my chubby Ramshackle OC bc it's going against most of the in-game models and there's no good in-game base for it.
This is not to say I want an overweight character to not make any sense tho. I'm not saying Ruggie should've been chubby from the start bc logically, that wouldn't make sense. But there were OPTIONS. Most of them, really! You could've made Kalim chubby or overweight and I would have cried from happiness!
Like PLEASEEEE I just want representation!!!!! PLEASE TWST
TLDR: They should have more chubby/overweight representation in Twst that isn't just a ghost, a villain, or a past iteration of a main character
