🌙 💧 Moon Water versus ☀️ 💧 Sun Water

Moon water associations:

🌑 New moon: used for cleansing and purifying and clearing magic/energies

🌒 Waxing: used for growth and learning, any form of increase magic

🌕 Full Moon: used for charges, enchantments, and creating charms

🌘 Waning: used for banishing magic and any form of baneful magic

Sun water association:

☀️ Typically used for energizing, strengthening, and physical healing magic

☀️ Used to cleanse away negative energies

☀️ Depending on the sun sign harvested in you can summon the energy of that sign by drinking the water. Typically used to alter your ego energy for a short time.

How to harvest:

1. Put water in a clear glass container, typically a jar

2. Some recipes have you add some salt to purify, and a crystal that is safe for water associated with the intention for the water to be used. Bare in mind if you’re making sun water that some stones can get sun bleached or heat damage.

3. Put your container out when you want to gather.

🌑🌒🌕🌘 For moon water you will put the container out after sunset and thin retrieve it before the sunrise.

☀️ For sun water place the container in direct sunlight for at least 3 hours throughout the day.

Mixing the two energies are not recommended. Both have different properties and effects and may even negate the other. Sun and moon are opposite energies.

4. Store in a dark cool place or fridge and try not to mix them up. You can use it in water spells or drink to absorb the energies when needed.
