El peligro en una copa: Caipirinha. Recordando San Francisco en México y con sabor a Brasil. Gracias globalización. _____ It's a foggy Tuesday night. I'm sitting in a dimly lit bar a couple of blocks from Union Square in San Francisco and it would be an understatement to say I'm thirsty. The young and bald bartender noticing the dry corners of my mouth quickly says "I suggest a caipirinha, I make a pretty fucking mean one too!" I wish I could say I got introduced to this drink at some exotic beach in Rio or São Paulo surrounded by bikinis. Of course it had to be on a cold ass night in the City by The Bay. The place in question is The Tunnel Top just above the Stockton tunnel in downtown San Francisco, not a swanky bar, but there is something about it that is comforting when it's not crazy crowded. If you are around the area I would suggest stopping by. I have no clue if the bald bartender is still around, but if he happens to be, take a sit at one of the bar stools, peek around the big window and order one of these.
