Chuckie Floop (A character Analysis)
So, I’ve seen a lack of character analysis posts for the Twisted Metal characters, and I thought what the hell, I’ll make a few myself. The first, and my foremost favorite character I’ll start with is none other than Chuckie Floop.
¡Bit of a warning!-This is based off of what we know of Chuckie, due to his characterization in his ending, and this will contain personal headcanons and opinions.
To start off explaining Chuckie’s character, we need to look at his ending and his reasoning for competing in Twisted Metal. Most people might assume it was for greed, or personal gain, as shown he is greedy, however, there’s something he says, that proves otherwise.
“I’m not a loser...” This is what he says (or he basically says) before making his wish to Calypso. First, he won Spectre to race in, next he won Twisted Metal. He feels the need to say he’s not a loser, even though he’s obviously proven himself not to be. He most likely was a nobody, or an average guy before the competition, and always dreamt of being something more. Another thing, in addition, is that he’s 19 years old. He is most likely an undecided college student, or not attending college yet. Even more of a reason to feel like he is a loser. So now that he has a reason to have some kind of ego, he seems to let that get to his head.
Now, here’s what I think his basic personality is like. Chuckie likes to think he’s above average, or wants to come off as he is, so he always has this sort of defensive ego about him. He wants to be a ladies man, and have people like him. He also likes partying, as shown in his “daydream” sequence, where he thinks about money. He imagines himself having parties, surrounded by women, and doing outrageous things (for instance, standing on top of a flying plane). Also, if he likes doing outrageous things, he must have an interest in dangerous stunts, or he must think that doing dangerous stunts makes one cool. How would others view him however? Most people would view him as dorky, or a bit of a try hard. They wouldn’t invite him to parties, and would keep him away from their social groups. Hence, why he’d feel the need to prove himself. He’d know that’s firsthand how people see him, and he’d want to show them he’s so much more than that. His version of cool is someone who not only wins a car in a contest, but also wins a demolition derby to the death with people who have at least some experience with these types of contests. He’s extremely lucky, and not even just winning can prove his cool, so what could make someone more cool? Money, of course. Money is what makes the world go around. So, of course Chuckie let his ego get the best of him, and he greedily asks for more than he’s already been given.
So, in conclusion, Chuckie Floop is just a dorky kid who wants to be more than that, and have some kind of place for himself in the world.

Renovations
Krista was working on hooking up a kareoke machine on top of a small wooden stage. "Alright, and these wires go here, and the kareoke song discs go here...." she said to herself, kneeling down to mess with the machine.
