pjo is one of my favourite book series’ ever and really kickstarted my love of greek mythology

i think i read the first one (maybe two??) of hoo, i can remember jason being thalia’s brother and the introduction of piper/leo/reyna/frank/hazel but that’s about it so i really need to catch up

so tid is like the prequel to tmi then tda follows on from tmi?? i always get confused when they start releasing prequels and novellas and ruin my life trying to work out timelines...

idk whether to read tid then tmi again then tda so i can take it in order but then there’s also the shadowhunter academy novella’s and the magnus bane chronicles and this is why i can’t deal with expanding universes bc it feels like too much effort to get everything in order lmao

hello yes i am a fellow bellarke sufferer after the finale - i saw you needed book recs so i recommend lord of shadows (part 2 of the dark artifices from cassandra clare) and there is also a new trials of apollo book !!!

i still need to read tid and tda, i’ve got book one of tid i think but i only ever read tmi (i actually don’t know if i even read the last book of tmi thinking about it)

trials of apollo is also on my list but i still need to finish the heroes of olympus series, i’m so behind lmao

Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe by Benjamin Alire Saenz

I personally have been listening to the audiobook which is narrated by Lin-Manuel Miranda (funny part is that the character always complains about having to write an essay about Alexander Hamilton and i laugh everytime). 

But, this book is amazing! Very real and deep and heartbreaking, but all in the best best best ways. I’ve cried at least 12 times, which is dangerous because I listen to it while driving. 

It’s won a ton of awards and should be easy to find in your local libraries or wherever you find books, but I highly recommend it!
