pretty sure the gun i used to run w was a ruger mkII 22lr
fun gun for targets, small enough to conceal, cheap enough to keep topped off, and enough of a threat for most to back off esp non gun heads
The one time I did use it in defense shot 2 rounds at a dudes foot and that seemed to stop em pretty good
Don't need a lot of power when the fear and pain is usually enough
That said i was fairly accurate shooter in general esp with the low recoil
Its been gone for a while now but would love to replace w a mk III or a 4 if I can find one cheap enough
If I can get that and a replacement set of throwing knives id be set again
