The Kuzuryuu sighed, looking up at the bag of fried dough cookies on the top shelf of the isle.
He had to even take time out of his day to come up with an excuse on what he even needed from the store, sounding rather suspicious when he said he just needed a toothbrush when each cottage came equipped with 4 extra ones in the mirror cabinet in each bathroom.
He was probably even raising even more suspicion upon himself for being the next person found guilty. Especially with a history of leading a gang and appearing to have no care for the lives of anyone else on the island.
But they were somehow worth it. After all, if he didn’t have his sweets every now and then, he got crankier than ever. And if they thought a crankier Fuyuhiko wasn’t possible, they had another thing coming.
He liked to call it a withdraw, not specifying what he was even being withdrawn from. It made him feel a little less like a spoiled child that would throw a tantrum if he didn’t get sweets and more like a grown man who had just finished a pack of cigs a week ago and still hasn’t bought another.
The petite gangster reached his hand up, standing on his toes to try to knock it off the shelf, at least.
After that failed, he then tried jumping up to get them. Now feeling a bit ridiculous and rather embarrassed, he let out a sigh of defeat.
No, he wasn’t done yet. He wasn’t going to let his height win this time. He just needed a rod of some sort to knock it down with. The boy turned around to begin his search, only to find that his hitman had been standing behind him. Yellow-Green eyes met with a piercing red stare.
He let out a tiny yelp of surprise. She always knew how to creep up on him. Quietness was just another perk of being a hitman, he supposed. After a lifetime together, he thought he’d be used to her still-as-stone jumpscares, but apparently not. After he caught his wits, he quickly realized something.
She had been standing there the whole time, hadn’t she?
His natural light blush darkened and spread across both his cheeks, ears and freckled nose.
