It came off as dry and blunt, but it seemed to be honest at least. While it could have been seen as merely corrective, it reminded him a bit of what mom’s… usually did. Make sure everyone around them were improving for the better, even if they didn’t know each other well.

It was something he could possibly look up to.

She rolled her eyes at his comment about her but didn’t feel like fighting it. She had said something similar to him, after all.
