Every Brush Counts

“Eve, you should really brush your hair gentler. You wouldn’t want to ruin your pretty hair, would you?”

“Is it important?

“Of course!”

Chung tugged the hair brush out of Eve’s hands. knowing that his beloved wouldn’t understand why it was so important to brush her hair carefully. He began to shift on their bed and soundlessly gathered all of her silvery strands of hair into a thick bundle.

He quietly kissed her hair as if it was a sacred treasure that couldn’t ever be replaced. His fingers gently parted a small portion of the thick bundle of silvery hair and went through the small tangles from the inside.

“Does it hurt?”

“No.”

“Good to hear that.”

He smiled at Eve’s response and began to brush her hair. From the scalp down towards the end of the cascade of silvery stars. Once all of the tangled mess was gone and the hair was once again smooth, Chung began to focus on the other portion of Eve’s hair.

“You don’t need to be that gentle with me.”

“Every brush counts you know? Plus.. I want you to always look as elegant as you always are.”

“Does elegance mean the same as selfishness?”

“Oh? What does my Mistress want from me? This loyal servant will do as you wish if you were to order me.”

“Every brush will count as one promise. Is that okay with you?”

“Of course. Anything for you.”

Chung’s smile grew wider as he finished another portion of her hair. More than half of the beautiful silver cascade was finished with the brushing. With the remaining portion, he once again kissed it before running it through with his fingers. He soon began to brush her hair. The ball tip on top of the bristles softly massaged her scalp as it ran through each and every strand of silvery white.

“What shall be the first thing for me to promise you?”

“To always protect me.”

Chung simply chuckled at Eve’s innocent words. He simply thought that he would always protect me even if she didn’t make him promise her that. Finally the last portion of hair no longer needed any more brushing. Once again, he gathered all of her hair together and decided to give it one more brush.

“Next, you’ll have to listen to every word I say.”

Another brush running down from her scalp to the end of the cascade of silver.

“You’re to never lie to me.”

Chung nodded his head and hummed softly to her words. Yet another brush through her hair.

“Don’t ever betray me.”

One more brush.

“Always believe what I say.”

One more brush.

“… To always stay by my side.”

One final brush to Eve’s beautiful hair.

“Last, but not least, you are to brush my hair everyday from now on.”

Eve swiftly shifted her body and caressed Chung’s cheeks. She soundlessly planted a feathery kiss upon his lips before pulling away with a cheeky smile. Chung couldn’t help, but laugh while pulling Eve back into his arms. He planted a soft kiss on her forehead.

“You’re so cheeky nowadays. So much for being the emotionless Mistress of Destruction.”

“Are those promises impossible for you to keep?”

“Not at all~! Your wish is my command.”

Chung grinned and kissed Eve’s soft lips before snuggling against her. Eve pressed her body closer towards him and closed her eyes in an attempt to show her peacefulness. Hopefully.. These promises will always be kept and never forgotten.

Sin of Sloth

Teal eyes flutter open, glaring slightly at the brightness of the room. Chung couldn’t help, but pull his covers up to block out the morning rays that everyone loves.

“Chung. Don’t be lazy.”

Chung could only groan at his beloved’s monotonous voice. Golden eyes simply gazed at the unmoving body of Chung before a pale hand reached out to pull the covers away. Unfortunately for Eve, Chung instantly kicked the covers away and pulled Eve back into their wide bed.

He wrapped his strong arms around her waist and buried his face into her silvery hair. Eve soundlessly wrapped her arms around Chung before flipping him onto his back. Her pale legs land by his sides as she place her forehead on top of his.

“Wake up, sloth.”

“And what if I don’t?”

Chung’s teal eyes flutter open once again and gazed into Eve’s golden ones. His lips curled into a simple smile as he pushed Eve against him.

“Don’t worry. I’ll get up soon. So… Sleep with me.”

“… Alright.”

Chung grinned in victory and his teal eyes slowly closed to once again slumber. Eve soundlessly laid against Chung and listened to his resting heartbeats.

“Sweet dreams.. Chung.”
