7-10 PM Wed 28th Nov 18 - my older brother Siaosi aka Roy Cook 3 days funeral program, started with a #thanksgivingservice at the #churchoftonga Hall in East Palo Alto. The wake at Jones Mortuary on Thurs 29th. And the burial at the Holy Cross Cemetery on Fri 30th. Roy certainly brought the #families & relatives together. Some meet for the first time. Some that haven't seen each other in person for so many years. 7 - 10 PM Wednesday 28th Nov - my older brother Siaosi aka Roy Cook's funeral started with the 'failotu' #thanksgivingservice by the #churchoftonga It was also the first time that the #families get together. Some meet for the 1st time too. It was a happy #familyreunion even though we were there to mourn the loss of our brother & uncle, a father & grandfather to his kids & #cousins to many #relatives. Roy certainly brought us together in death. Especially me as I don't see, meet or talk to any for years - other than on Facebook, until I go to such event or go see my families or go visit Tonga. And I get to speak in Tongan too rather than writing it on Facebook.
