Summer Event Fill (3/3) [Late]

its-york-catch asked:  26 Church/Tex. Church taking Tex to a movie, but Tex is really unimpressed by the fight scenes because she knows she could beat up everyone involved.

“That guy doesn't know how to throw a punch.”

“That hit wouldn't kill! C'mon, at least be realistic.”

“Are you kidding me? That guy should be dead, three times over with how he fights.”

“That's not a fight move nearly as effective as they make it seem.”

“How's that a fight?”

“Tex, please, it's just a goddamn movie!”

“It's a terrible goddamn movie, Leonard!”

“You know what, fine!” The man yelled, getting off the couch and powering off the TV.

“Where are you going?!” The woman yelled, never the one to shy away from a fight and got up as her boyfriend stormed out of the room.

“To do something fun, without you being a bitch to ruin it.”

Tex glared at him before taking her gym bag and car keys and leaving “Fine, don't wait up for me.”

She slammed the door behind her, ignoring her boyfriend as he shouted insults at her as she left.

She drove to the gym and walked to her usual spot as she began punching the punching bag hung up from the ceiling.

“Hey, Tex, I thought you had a date night with Church tonight?” A blonde man said as he walked to his spot in the machines for chest muscles.

“Yeah, but he picked a lame movie with terrible fight scenes and we got in to a fight.” She grit through her teeth, delivering one extra strong punch to the bag.

“Let me guess, you kept complaining about the fight scenes?” He asked with a smile.

“And he freaked out about me being a bitch.” She answered, not pausing her session.

“Well maybe you should try to talk to him? He's been talking about this date night for days.” Wash pointed out as Tex's phone buzzed.

Tex raised an eyebrow before lifting up her phone and checking the message she received “Yeah, I don't think he's too sad about it.” She replied angrily.

“Got a message from him?' Wash asked.

“A picture, actually, of him dancing with some chick at a bar.”

“Ah.”

The two continued their session in comfortable silence, only pausing when the clock ticked by two AM and they parted ways.

By the time Tex returned to the apartment she shared with Church, it was two thirty, and the entire place was silent, walking in to the bedroom, she was surprised to see her boyfriend, smelling like alcohol and staring at the ceiling, deep in thought.

She got in to their bed quietly and moved next to Church.

“Hey.” She greeted quietly, not a single light was on, but she could still tell he was crying.

“Oh, hey...” He greeted back, looking around as if to try and find where the sound emerged from.

“I'm sorry.” She admitted after a while.

“I'm sorry too.” He sighed “Y'know, I just wanted to have a calm, normal evening date, with sex at the end!”

She shook her head in amusement “Well, no sex for you, since you're drunk, but you can have a kiss.”

“A kiss sounds nice.” He said, finally finding out where she was and leaning towards her.

She smiled and pressed a soft, gentle kiss on to his lips.

They had their ups and downs, and they had their fights, but at the end of the day, they were both just in love.

Tex: Yo, Church. I just got hit by a plasma grenade, which was kinda your fault and I'm dying now. But I got rid of the AI I've been trying to ditch all season so in my last moments of life I'm finally free so everything's fine. Also I'm not going to say I love you because apparently all Tex/Church shippers deserve to burn in hell.

Tex: Yo, Church, I know what we've been trying to do for the past few seasons now was destroy O'Malley, but I'm ditching that plan and joining his side for reasons never clearly explained but having something vaguely having to do with protecting my friends. To bad Sarge put a bomb in our getaway ship so now I've been blown up rendering all your efforts completely pointless.

Tex: Yo, Church, turns out I was an AI too. Thanks for helping Wash turn on the EMP and killing both of us.

Tex: Yo, Church, I'm getting stabbed through the face in a way that would be extremely disturbing if I was made out of organs and stuff. I know I just shot you 10 minutes ago, but that's not going to stop you from going after me into your own twisted RvB headcannon.

Church: Yo, Tex. I know I just spent the whole season trying to find you, but now I got to give an extremely moving speech while we sit on top of the base together and watch the world end. But now that we are both facing the inevitability of death I have to say goodbye one final time and let you go. Forever. And I'm not even going to say I love you because apparently all Tex/Church shippers deserve to burn in hell.
