This delicious dessert has just the right amount of both crunchy churros and smooth ice cream. The churro bowl gives the vanilla ice cream a crunchy texture that goes well with it, making a delicious treat for your taste buds.
Ingredients: 1 cup all-purpose flour. 1 cup water. 2 tablespoons unsalted butter. 2 tablespoons granulated sugar. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. 1/4 teaspoon salt. Vegetable oil, for frying. Cinnamon sugar mixture 1/2 cup granulated sugar mixed with 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon. Vanilla ice cream. Chocolate sauce, for topping. Whipped cream, for garnish. Maraschino cherry, for garnish.
Instructions: Put water, butter, sugar, vanilla extract, and salt in a saucepan. Bring up the temperature. Take it off the heat and add the flour. Mix it in until it forms a ball. In a deep pan, heat the vegetable oil to 350F 175C. The churro dough should be put into a piping bag with a big star tip. In hot oil, pipe dough into circles and fry them for about two to three minutes on each side, until they are golden brown. When you take the churro bowls out of the oil, toss them right away in the cinnamon sugar mix. Put vanilla ice cream scoops in churro bowls after letting them cool a bit. Cover in chocolate sauce, add whipped cream on top, and decorate with a maraschino cherry. Serve right away and enjoy!
