My first time with Churros – ChurrosUK Review
Ok well today was a first, I’ve never tried Churros before and have been wanting to for quite sometime now. Churros if you didn’t know is pretty much Spain’s version of “doughnuts at the fair”
These are a little different from those doughnuts we all know and love, essentially the batter seems a lot firmer (any loser and i guess they wouldn’t hold shape). This results in the end product being more chewy than a regular fried doughnut.
We opted to go for Churros with a pot of dipping chocolate from Churrosuk.com . When the five Churros arrived they were hot and tasted how i pictured in my head (albeit a little more of a workout for my mouth). When dipped into the chocolate they were pretty amazing, unfortunately we didn’t get much dipping sauce at all and had to ration it, i’m not sure if this was because they ran out or if portion sizes really should have been that small. If i had all five, fresh hot Churros with a full pot of chocolate sauce, i would have rated them 8 / 10 but without that i had to score lower.
Either way, I’ve established these are pretty tasty and when dipped in chocolate are amazing !
