Tokyo 2020 | After competing at 8 Olympic Games, Oksana Chusovitina (UZB) says "Bye, Bye!" to the sport of gymnastics at age 46
Oksana Chusovitna retired in 2021 but sometimes? I can still hear her competing and winning medals.
So puzzle: Chuso said she was coming back because she wanted to win a medal for Uzbekistan. All of her Olympic medals are for the Soviet Union or Germany. The announcement says she will be going for the 2022 Asian games.
But she’s won an individual medal on all events at the Asian games.
So she means World or Olympic medals right? But she’s won a world medal for Uzbekistan so ...
Either this is an announcement that she’s going to try for Paris 2024 ...
Or... Oksana Chusovitina has forgotten she won a gold medal for Uzbekistan in 2003
Which is more likely?
The Nemov Show - supposed to be this weekend - featuring Gelya, Vlada, Listy, Masha, etc etc etc - has been postponed until December 25th!

That one time I made a Chuso edit because someone on Twitter posted a picture of her vaulting from Doha Worlds in 2018, and there was a suggestion of this cool person named Marybeth who would love to see some edit of that picture and here is the result.
Which 3 would you pick???
Swift as a coursing river, with all the force of a great typhoon, with all the strength of a raging fire, mysterious as the dark side of the moon
