I thought I at least owe you an explanation of my absence. You’re a really great bunch of friends after all ^w^ <3
It’s a little long though ヽ（゜ロ゜；）ノ
I’ve been juggling a lot with my job as a housemaid for better hours. It’s something my older sister got me into because I needed to get me some cash and well... when you’re desperate, you usually end up with a company that’s also desperate.
They’re disorganized at the office, angering employees and clients every single day, and I never know when I’ll be getting home because they just throw houses at us and we have to drive to them which on occasion can take over an hour in between.(plus the most they’ll give us between those houses is 5 bucks.)
But anyway, It’s also a very physical job and whether I get home at 3PM or 7, I don’t seem to have a lot of energy.
I haven’t really been talking to my friends very much, including you, and I haven’t much updated the blog due to some of the stress.
I ended up moving in with my older sister in her one-bedroom after she kicked her fiance out. She couldn’t afford living by herself with the job we got and the new damn car she decided was necessary to get. -3-;
But considering my family is only drama when they’re together....
I decided to act as like... a barrier? Basically to keep the peace by keeping my older sister and her 3 year old from moving back in with the fam.
Now I’m paying near 400 a month for the internet and my sis’ tiny af walk-in closet which i managed to fashion into an office.
What’s really set me back is a surprise power bill of $450 which was damn near my entire paycheck for the last two weeks of work.
I had been planning to use that paycheck to get me a trip to Washington, which I now have to put off for the 6th time.
Can a guy get a break once in awhile?
I mean, I did get to spoil myself and go to Comic Con. But around the time it came around I had 40 bucks for the entire weekend, which basically turned into food money with a sparing of 5 bucks for little post cards.
BUt-!
I do have good news.
My sister and I may be able to move to a 2 bedroom apartment, which would give me the space to work without feeling responsible for her child.(This also means I may be able to become more active again!)
I am working on a few ideas for custom figures, necklaces and keychains I can potentially sell when I’m comfortable with it, and I’m going to try putting more effort into drawing every day.
Oh! Not to mention I’m going to start answering all those asks about bitty Swinks and such, so feel free to send some questions if you’d like to get in on that.
