After an extremely grueling and difficult mission in Spain, Leon was finally back on American soil. The mission to rescue Ashley Graham had turned out to be much more than he had originally expected it to be, Leon knew the job would be a tough one, never did he think it to be as horrific as it turned out to be. Needless to say, after surviving yet another living hell, Leon had never been more happier to be back in his home country.
When President Graham heard about the details in the mission file that had been dubbed: The Kennedy Report, and once he learned of the nightmare's Leon had faced in rescuing his daughter, the President was understandably grateful and was kind enough to grant him a four week vacation -- a vacation that he gladly accepted it, after going through all of that, it was much needed.
Arriving at the airport, after getting off his plane, the agent clad in a brand new bomber jacket that matched his previous one, stepped through the doors of the arrivals area and let out a relieved sigh, finally, he was back home, his time in Spain felt far longer than it actually was.
As the agent made his way through to the lobby area, blue eyes came across a familiar face, another person that he hadn't seen in six years, it was Claire Redfield, and right away their eyes met, as the two recognized each other right away, approaching the redhead, he greets her with a smile.
[{ ☣ }] - "Claire? Hey, long time no see!"
[{ ☣ }] - "What are you doing here?"
A deep-set sigh escaped Claire as she headed back from the terminal gate and into the lobby of Dulles International Airport. As much as she loved her job with TerraSave, it could be rather exhausting. Politics and socio-ecological issues aside, escorting diplomats and targeted activists made up the bulk of her workload. She wished she could get some more substantial projects to work on, and in her free time, she often found herself researching various BOW attacks around the world - compiling evidence that TerraSave could use in activism lawsuits.
Now she stood by herself in the lobby, watching the silent news report on one of the many screens around the large open room. The president was making a statement about the recent kidnapping of his daughter, explaining that Ashley had made it home and that the incident would not lead to tensions between the US and Spain. Claire crossed her arms over her chest and narrowed her eyes at the news report. Despite the lack of information given, TerraSave had been tipped off about a month ago that bioweaponry had been discovered in the outskirts of rural Spain towns. She had her suspicions, but she wouldn't get herself involved. It wasn't any of Claire's business.
Hearing her name, her head turned to look through the crowd. The moment her eyes laid on Leon, her face lit up with a smile and she turned to face him. She waded through the crowd to meet up with him.
"Oh my God. Leon, hi!" She greeted. "What am I doing here? I should ask you the same thing. You look... Like you've been through hell."
