"Somehow I don't believe you." The state alchemist mumbled annoyance obvious on her tone. Slowly she adjusted herself, turning towards Greed and offering a drink. "Going in blindly like that is just going to get you killed."

Modern cities were always fascinating for Reyna to see. The infrastructure and design always gave her ideas on how to advance Arx with care and consideration. Yet, here it was a different story. She saw the buildings in ruin, the roads were dilapidated, and the signs covered in foliage. The only sign she could read gave what she assumed was the name of the city.

"Jackson...what happened to this place?" She muses aloud, easily spotted as she stands in the middle of it all.

Jackson had become an odd sense of home for her. Sure she and Joel had only moved in the last few months, but at least it was warm bed, cooked meals, and a good place where she could blow off steam. The hardest part for her was making friends. Ellie was known for her foul attitude, and often times it ended up making the children of Jackson scared of her.

Oh well. It is what it is.

The sudden arrival of the dragon had her attention, crouching to the ground ready for a fight as the town came to life in defense of the homestead that they had all worked to achieve. "Hey! If you don't want to get shot you better get out of the middle of town."

"UH!" She turned rapidly on her heel to face away from the intruder. Hastily she wipred away any trace of the bite on her stomach. "Y-yeah it's just a cut no big deal."

I have a desperate need for gas money. Gas is 4.10 here and I have to drive 240 miles a week and thats if I don't have to do grocery shopping and other doctors appointments. I spent all my food money on gas so I am heading to the pantry today to help with that at least.

Ellie grinned, each item being removed and placed in their appropriate spot in his barren kitchen. She wanted a movie night, but also ensuring that Dante had at least something to eat was always on her mind. The teen knew what it was like to starve.

"Virgil is here?"

He chuckles at the girl and nods. "Yeah he-"

"I'm right here." He sighs with annoyance and folding his arms. "I was in the middle of reading and I heard your annoying voice talking about me." His face never waivers and keep his frown. "Of course my foolish of a brother is relying on another child to save him again."

"Well that ain't nice bro." Shakes his head and puts his arms around him with a grin. "And besides, I think you're gonna enjoy tonight!"

Ellie's attention turned to the far more sour brother, meeting his scowl with a mocking scowl of her own. Their realtionship had always been rocky at best and she was never a fan of how Virgil talked to Dante.

"First off I'm a teenager, not a child so fuck you." She rolled her eyes. "You just grumped yourself out of a meatball sub. So you get the cold sub and Dante and I get hot subs." Ellie dug in the bags, producing well wrapped subs from a place down the street.

"Horror movies and video games."
