He was not embarrassed. At the very beginning of the night maybe. But not now after hours have passed and drinks have been drunk. He was never one for shame anyways. It's not that Yamagishi had hardened his skin but instead lets everything roll off him. Like water off a duck's back. So while he was embarrassing to other diners and patrons here ( second - hand. They all thought he was embarrassing himself. ) it was just another Saturday night for him. And for all that embarrassment it doesn't seem to matter to the person he was actually fixated on tonight. No amount of crawling on all fours to the bathroom or friendly arguments over direct-to-video sequels would deter him.

After the usual gang moseys out into the crisp cool air, they stay behind. Waving them off before slinking back through the entrance and pausing to fix his hair in the reflection of a fish tank. And with a practiced gait, he glides right back over to the bar and hops on a chair. "Heeeey~ I'm ready for round two!" he chimes happily, smug little grin on his face. "And I want another drink too."

To say she's startled is an understatement. Gray eyes grow wide, unsure what to make of the sudden peck to her lips. Not only a kiss, but a kiss from a villain.

Reflexively, her hand lands on her lips and touches them uncertainty. “ Uhm ...” Suddenly, the room feels as if it's spinning. Her own eyes almost crossing in their newfound daze. “ Excuse me? ” Is she supposed to say thank you in this scenario?

   Shion’s words draw Izana from his thoughts and earn him a glance from the king. It’s bold and it’s borderline insubordinate to an extent. But Shion is one of his S-62. Shion has followed him like a messy puppy stumbling over its paws for so long. From the black dragons to S-62 to Tenjiku, mess and all, he followed and followed and followed. It’s ironic, how Shion is one of the few that Izana has little concern in leaving him. 

   (  Except, of course, for the occasion when he can’t get ahold of him and unease creeps in. )

   Izana regards him in silence. He can’t imagine that it would be all that comfortable with the way Shion would have to move or slouch to rest against Izana’s shoulder. But it seems that is what he wants, or else he could have crashed elsewhere on a couch or chair or bed. Perhaps it was to make up for the time apart. Izana hadn’t been around him very often this last week and a half. With that in mind, Izana passes judgement and verdict.

   “  Rest.  “  A single, simple word. Not a rejection. He doesn’t tell Shion to scram. It’s an acceptance of the possibility that Shion will decided to do exactly that. If Izana himself could nap in the presence of them, then such was it likely to be accepted vice versa.

   Although, Shion could only blame himself if Izana abruptly got up at some point and caused Shion to fall against the seating arrangement. If he didn’t wake, that was his fault. But for now at least, izana seems to have no plans of leaving his spot as he peers down at his phone. It was a rare moment of seemingly softness from the king.
