Welcome to Make Him Submit: a sub!Derek Hale fest

Have you ever wanted to see a big bad Alpha submit and go so deep into subspace he loses himself in it? Well this is the event for you.

This is a multimedia event, meaning we accept fanfiction, art, podfic, meta, etc. as long as it's within AO3's terms of service.

The collection is open for early posting, but works will be revealed on June 21st 2026.

All works must feature Derek Hale submitting in some manner. It does not necessarily have to be sexual but there must be submission.

No AI generated works will be accepted to the collection.

Tag appropriately, but we will not be policing tags. We're not fucking cops

FAQ (under the cut)

Q: What kind of works am I allowed to submit? A: All type of fanworks are welcome! Fics, art, podfic, meta, you name it. As long as the main topic is Derek submitting, you're good.

Q: Is there a minimum/maximum wordcount for fics or podfic? A: No, just write/pod whatever strikes your fancy

Q:Is there a minimum for art? A: No, just draw whatever strikes your fancy

Q: What ships are allowed? A: Any and all ships featuring Derek Hale are allowed, as long as Derek is the one submitting

Q: I wish my fill to remain Anon. How can I do this? A: You can post directly to the AO3 COLLECTION + any Anonymous collection you own/trust. The collection itself IS NOT ANONYMOUS, so if you post only to this collection, your username will be visible.

Q: I don't want to see [X] content, can you please remove it? A: No. The only content that will be removed will be that that does not comply with the rules.

Now Announcing: Teen Wolf Rarepair Mini/Big Bang

What is a Mini/Big Bang?

Last month the mods of this blog ran a general interest poll to decide what type of event to run. The votes were split fairly evenly between a Big Bang, and a Mini Bang, and we decided to run a combo event.

How will this work?

There will be two tracks for participants to choose from; a Mini Bang or a Big Bang. Whichever track is picked, will determine the timeline and requirements of their challenge.

Mini Bang Track Requirements:

Mini Bang Writers will be required to submit a fic that is between 10k and 20k words.

Mini Bang Artists will be matched with a Mini Bang Writer and be required to submit between 1 and 3 pieces of art based on the fic.

Big Bang Track Requirements:

Big Bang Writers will be required to submit a fic of minimum 40k words, with no maximum word count.

Big Bang Artists will be matched with a Big Bang Writer and be required to submit between 2 and 5 pieces of art based on the fic.

As of right now, we are only allowing one sign up per person. However that might change if we need to balance the number of writers and artists.

Accepted Types of Art:

Traditional art as long as you are able to submit a high quality scan

Hand drawn digital art

Photo edits/manipulations

GIFs

How we Define a Rarepair:

Any ship that has under 5k works on AO3, excluding cross over works. We are excluding cross over works to account for things like kinktober where the rare pair gets maybe five hundred words of focus.

If you voted in our polls you might have noticed originally we said under 10k fics, but we didn’t realize how much sterek’s popularity skewed the results. To account for such a juggernaut ship, we moved the limit down.

All Sign Ups Close: May 3

All Writers First Check-In, and Summary Due: May 10

Summaries Posted for Browsing: May 13

Summary Claiming: May 27

All Artists First Check In/All Writers Second Check In: July 1

Mini Bang Start Posting: August 1

Last Check In for Big Bang Participants: August 17

Big Bang Start Posting: September 1

We are leaving sign ups open until a week before the first check in. This is to allow writers a chance to get a head start on their fics, and hopefully reduce the number of writers who have to back out due to unforeseen circumstances.

Have someone you want to work with in mind already?

We are allowing for a writer and artist to sign up as a pre-matched pair! So if you and your mutual want that push to finally work together, you can sign up as a unit.

Rules:

No AI. If a participant is caught using AI, they will be blocked and banned.

The ship you are creating for must have less than 5k works on AO3 (excluding crossovers)

All works must be tagged accurately at the time of summary, and when posting to AO3. (If the tags change between summary and posting, that is fine.)
