@widgenstain tagged me so here you go *g*
Do you ship a pairing from the new Star Wars movie, if yes, which?
If I had one, it’d probably be Finn/Poe - they cracked me up, but as such I’m not enough into SW to have a fav *g*
I’d say Sith if it wasn’t because I’d kill the lot of them within a week for all their theatrical tantrums and behaviour. So Jedi will do.
Which is your favourite era fashion-wise?
1920s I think. Dashing and daring.
High heels: Tool of empowerment or misogynistic death trap?
To be worn at your own risk LOL - if you feel like wearing them for your own sake - knock yourself out. I’m a shortarse and like a little height on boots and such but more than a little and it becomes a deathtrap. Mysogynistic? Depends on why you’re wearing them. If you like towering over arseholes and wear something that can more or less pierce someone’s foot. Go ahead. I am more of a sneakers person myself (I’d break something if I tried to wear heels at work).
What’s your favourite drinking game?
The last drinking game I took part in was related to The Lord of the Rings - I’m unclear on the rules, but I think in the end anything was an excuse to drink. Especially when lighting the beacons *facepalms* - I wish I could say I was younger, but I’m pretty sure it was last summer...
Are you a happy drunk or a mean one?
Depends on the company. Nine times out of ten, I’m a ridiculously chipper drunk. Bordering on so chipper other people want to kill me. EVERYTHING is suddenly hilarious! If I have to share space with people who have a vastly different look on life than me (when it comes to politics, gender and such) and they insist on sharing their racism/homophobia/general idiocy then the alcohol only makes my tongue sharper and my brain run faster and I take no bloody prisoners *coughs* - this however doesn’t happen very often. I choose my company with care.
What’s your go-to dance move?
Flailing all over the place?
Have you ever seen a ballet, if yes, which one and did you enjoy it?
I’ve never seen one. Wouldn’t mind though. I quite like going to the theatre for plays and musicals.
What’s your favourite body part of James McAvoy’s?
His eyes are a definite second - right after that glorious little bum of his.
What’s your favourite body part of Michael Fassbender’s EXCEPT that one?
*laughs* - yeah - Hmmm, His insanely long upper body comes in second after his smile. And I mean the dorky one - the one with far too many fucking teeth. It never fails to set me off and make me grin and it literally brightens my day whenever it crosses my dashboard.
Kinda unrelated: Tell me about the first time you bought condoms.
Sometime in the 90s. It’s been years since I went off men for the sake of my own gender (I still find men attractive, but they always work out way better as friends - possibly because my sense of humour is roughly that of a 6 year old boy - 12 year old on a good day).
List of questions for @oneiriad, @ciacconne if you want to and anyone else who might want to (remember to tag me so I can see your answers).
If you look out the window right now, what do you see?
Do you ever have the urge to stock up on inflatable hammers and take them out in public and hit people when they’re being stupid?
Do you have non-fannish friends who sometimes will cross into fannish terms/ideas/tropes by sheer vortex of coincidence? If yes, what was it the last time it happened? And how did you react?
How do you dress on an ordinary week-day? Casual, formal or PJs (I’m not judging anyone, I’d go into work in PJs if I could)?
What’s the last movie you went to the cinema to watch? And was it any good?
Where would you like to travel if you weren’t restricted by money?
If the TARDIS appeared in front of your home and the doctor of your choice thew the door open and offered you any destination in time and space, where would you go? Forward? Backward? Out among the stars or somewhere on Earth? Or would you kindly decline the Doctor’s offer?
Looking at the state of the world today, would you take a one way ticket to Mars if offered? I mean, look at the US (Trump), Middle East (war).
Enough with the travelling questions. Tell me the top 3 best books you’ve ever read. And the absolutely worst one as well.
If you had to pimp your current fandom to me, what would your five keywords be?
Are you background noise or absolute quiet when it comes to being creative / when relaxing? If you prefer noise - what’s your favourite ‘soundtrack’? Sounds or music or...?
