Long before Asiirha or Astraeus were born, Ciar and Ifreann were thick as thieves, as it were. Well loved by their sire, constantly pushed by their dam, and chosen later in life to be two of King Burdohk’s personal soldiers, they were well known and celebrated warrior twins.
What was little known however was the passion the pair shared for reading and education. Most of their earnings from the King himself’s own hoards would often be split down the middle, with both donating to the great library in the college of Kurosia. Often anonymously.
During and after their years spent in the college classes themselves, the twins memorized every space, every nook and cranny of the library. They knew where to find books from every sections, all the rarely touched sections, and all the hidden alcoves where they could read in peace.
Reading was something both the pair passed on to their sons; and though it pained her to relive the memories of her youth spent discovering the most private alcoves, Ciar shared all of these with her son, and this is where they spent most of their time bonding during his childhood and teen years.

What did Ciar think of Athrenna when she became queen? What did both arrows think of the previous queen before Athrenna defeated her? Was Titus held captive by the Kuros before or after Athrennas coronation? :3
MOD: Ciar and Athrenna were around the same age, and Ciar (along with Ifreann) became one of Burdohk’s closest and most trusted soldiers. I think Athrenna recognized in others their emotional weak points (as evidenced when Athrenna pinpointed that Kurogh’s desire to become king was due to his jealousy towards Asiirha, which even Asiirha didn’t know about until he returned to Kurosia after Athrenna died/Kurogh was king). She likely pinpointed this in Ciar, multiple times, which I’m sure Ciar found disconcerting. Only Ifreann really understood her wholly, but Athrenna seemed to know that Ciar’s desire to impress her mother was why she pushed herself so far. Ciar thought that Athrenna was a little too smart for her liking, mostly because it made her uncomfortable that someone could make her feel emotionally vulnerable without really knowing her. But they did get along beyond that, Ciar would just always excuse herself whenever Athrenna would try to pinpoint her emotional weakness. (Athrenna likely teased Ciar too about how her eyes would always stray to her own harem.)
As for the previous queen, I’m not entirely sure. I think that they likely knew of her, but never met her; Ciar and Ifreann became personal soldiers around the time of Athrenna’s coronation, meaning she was the one they interacted with the most. I also don’t know what Weird’s plans for the queen before Athrenna were/are.
And as for when Titus was held, it was after Athrenna’s coronation. Titus was held captive during the same few months that it took for Ciar to become pregnant with Asiirha, and Ifreann to become pregnant with Astraeus.
Note: In Ciar’s old original ref, it says she was 234 at the Fall of Kurosia, which is going to be retconned. I’d say she’s about 300 when The Fall occurs.
Ciars horns dont seem very metal-like, while her mothers horns do. Does she get this from her father? Who is her father?
MOD: That is also something that needs to be updated! Back when I designed Ciar I didn’t realize that the bone-like texture of a Brokt’s horns doesn’t mean they’re necessarily bone colored. They’ll be silver much like Ifreann’s are! And Ciar/Ifreann are twins, their parents are featured here!
