魏嘉瑩 Arrow Wei with a new cover a song by 告五人 Accusefive   =D

Gorgeous arrangement, heavy emphasis on the strings section, and such a sweet voice!  (Legacy Taipei August 25th)

The original MV has almost 1.5 million views at YouTube since it was posted last November!   The Accusefive arrangement also has added instrumentation, including 2 string players from Cicada, plus horns & sax.  

Directed by 邱柏昶 Birdy Nio, and starring 黃騰浩 Tender Huang.

[From YT: “Hiking in the Mist” is a hiking journal Cicada wrote with music for the mountains in Taiwan. Cicada walked through misty forest, rested by streams, admired clouds during sunset in North Dawu Mountain and encountered sunlit grassland at Qilai south peak. They hiked up to the ridge line overlooking the city, met wildlife in the cabin, experienced pouring rain and snows in cirque... Growing up in an island with more than 260 peaks over 3000 meters in height, it's always been in our mind to be surrounded by nature and write about the mountains. At the 10th year of Cicada, we arise from the ocean and step into the forest. Everything we experienced in the wilderness led us to seek within.]

A soothing way to end September and prepare for fall: Cicada（Taiwan）at 玉成戲院錄音室 YuChen Cinema Studio!   =D

江致潔 Jesy Chiang-piano, Yang Tao 楊桃 (楊庭禎 Yang Ting Chen)-cello, 謝維倫 Hsieh Wei Lun-guitar, Andy He (Hsu Kang Kai)-violin.  A couple of these names are different in the listing on the video (@4:19) so I’ll include both.

Cicada! The last of 12 bands to perform on Cinema Sessions. First with no vocal, drums or electric guitar. A refreshing finale to a year long project. We had a listen to their music backwards and thought it also sounded beautiful and decided to make it our intro music. Hope you enjoy, and remember Sharing is Caring! (Although Cicada was the last band to record but Cinema Session is not over yet! Prepare for the next artist to come!)
