Hi! Question: Are you aware of the trifecta-
Of ninajirachi - I love my computer, slayyyter - worst girl in america, underscores - U ?
Have you listened to them and if so, opinions?
Bonus recommendation that has nothing to do with the others: Boko Yout - gusto
Omg hi !
Yes I'm aware of 'I Love My Computer' and I've listened to the most popular songs (iPod Touch & Fuck My Computer) but I planned on reserving it for an album of the week (I try listen to one new album every week !). I can easily do it next week as it's been getting more into my rotation lately (extra computer time :p)
I also have listened lots to the 'It's You - underscores 'It's U' remix which kind of served as my reminder to go listen to the ninajirachi album because it's been on my radar since its release lol. This single was so fun while waiting for the underscores album and the single Tell Me (U Want It) released like a week later, lotsa hype for me.
It seems really good and right up my alley with the hyperpop sound and as someone who spends lots of time on my computer (graphic designer)
I didn't actually know Slayyyter at all before Coachella this year but i've heard talk about their sets so they're now on my radar hahah. I'll try listen to their album over the summer as an album of the week meethinks. I really don't know much about them, a vague idea of their sound? It'll be a surprise.
And underscoreeeeeesssss! I was waaaaiting eagerly for this album, had it presaved on spotify (alongside the BTS album that was dropping the same day?! and yes i'm a kpop stan eek) and I made it my album of the week that week and the ARIRANG album the week after haha. My favourite on it has been "The Peace" but I've really enjoyed everything. The songs I've spent the least time with is probably 'Innuendo (I Get U) and 'Wish U Well' but I still like them, when the acoustic guitar starts in 'Wish U Well' I was like :0!!!! classic ending (bc it reminded me of 'Good luck final girl'. Overall I think the 'U' concept as a subject for the album is cool and executed well. 'Wallsocket' had a bigger impact on me but I don't really mind 'U' is really solid and a fun listen.
I'm not that good at being openly critical about music but I'd love to hear your opinions on the albums too! The trifecta is noted to be part of my albums of the week 2026 (AOTW 26) :)
Also that pokémon card is so cute, thank you so much for the ask and coming to chat :D
