CICERO & TIA ┊ lmao welp, rip cicero.
curious hazel hues scanned the room from his post on the wall, a smile quick to follow the swig of his beer as cicero took in the partygoers. all his teammates seemed revved from their win this eve, estatic for another trip to the playoffs and the chance to be champions for their final hoorah of high school careers. most already looked wasted, --- drunk on victory & inflated egos. out of the corner of his gaze, the male saw his friend on the team beckon him to join a game of beer pong. a quick shake of his head in response, prefering to hang on the outside and watch it all like a movie rather than play lead. while gaze traveled back to center, eyes caught sight of their star linebacker, figure towered and locked against the small blonde on the dance floor. while blake's face gleamed pleasure, his dance partner seemed trapped and resistant towards his teammate's advances. why can't a guy get a hint?, he thought as cicero watched the uncomfortable pairing. he downed the last of his cup, then tossed it in the trash as he strode towards the dancers. shoulders rolled back to stand at full height, arms crossed as cicero met blake's annoyed gaze. ❝ the lady doesn't want to dance, blake. i suggest you back off. ❞
at least his words caused blake to release his tight grip on the lady's hips, attention solely on cicero's audacity to cockblock. the red head stood his ground as the other cursed him out, silence the only response back as others around them began to turn and focus on the exchange. when blake got in his face and geared towards a fight, limbs uncrossed to clench his hands into fists and flex his muscles. hazel hues warily assesed the other, temper starting to rise to the surface. ❝ again, i suggest you back off and walk away, wilson. unless you'd like to step outside, since i don't want to get the lady hurt in the crossfire. ❞ blake hovered close for a moment longer before he huffed off, leaving the red head and the doe eyed female beside him. cicero relaxed his posture and turned to the straight haired girl, an apologetic, friendly smile poised on his lips. ❝ sorry about him. i swear not all of us jocks are like that. are you alright? ❞
