gcreprincess liked for a starter. *
she was sat on the steps of some condemned building near her apartment, watching the sun rise over the horizon. this was one of her favorite times of day. like the rest of the world, she was waking up. but unlike the rest of the world, she hadn’t been asleep. at least, not physically. no, her body had been out and about all night long, doing god knows what.
there was blood staining her hands and some decorating her face. she tries not to think about it. she’ll deal with it later. whatever the demon does is beyond her, so long as it doesn’t violate the terms of their deal. she won’t kill, no matter how much the demon or she herself wants to. she doesn’t need any more blood on her hands. her friends were dead, and she blames herself for that.
she watches, with an empty gaze, as the sun makes its way high into the sky. she notices that there’s people beginning to pass by. she needs to leave soon, lest she wants to get caught. but she just can’t bring herself to go. she felt like she was waiting for something, but she had no idea what, and that she couldn’t leave until it came.
