(yes the Puzzle is a drawing, i don't know how i did it, i don't know if i'll be able to do it again. Yes, the purple is Yuugi's purple because if the Puzzle was Atem's prison then Yuugi is Atem's home. the Puzzle does not seem like a prison with Yuugi around

the chess and senet boards:

while neither senet nor chess are similar games, they are both 2 player board games involving pawns and a checkered board, and i think those similarities are enough for Atem to remember playing chess with aibou and start crying about it

did blackboards exist in Ancient Egypt? i don't know

but the idea of Mana using a ridiculously long blackboard to tally the times Atem has cried over Yuugi is so funny to me so the blackboard stays

the hieroglyphs:

the one that High Priest Seto asks is the glyphs denoting the board game Senet

the glyphs in the cartouche is Atem's name as shown in the DM anime while the other set of glyphs is Group ID: G29879, which stand for crying among other words like weeping and sorrow. is this grammatically correct? idk but i think it gets the point across and that's good enough for me

I used ibispaintx and all of my braincells for this.

It's my first digital art so I have no idea about half the functions on the app but I'll learn and practice more

I thought that since Scapeghost is so smol I thought it would be easy to draw, like on paper but digital. But it isn't. Digital art is so different from traditional art i was not prepared. Two YouTube tutorials are not enough.

I mostly used the airbrush, blur and smudge tools. Those are such cool tools.

Is it cheating if I use the lasso tool to copy the stars?

Since Yami Bakura is Thief King Bakura I drew Thief King Bakura and a mini Yami Bakura as possessed Ryou (I was going to draw Zorc as well but I'm still not sure how much of Zorc is Yami Bakura)

He looks very calm and relaxed here enjoying the breeze. He also has a beauty mark on his chin and seems like a chill guy
